About Us

Apollo MT is a minority-owned company that offers an exclusive, fully-insured membership that provides a safety net for people concerned about the high cost of emergency medical transportation. The company is based in the Northwest, and available across the country.

Our Story

Apollo’s team consists of a wide range of professionals throughout the health care industry, but the idea came from Dr. Eric Stirling. At the time, he owned a large Medevac company. On a regular basis, he saw the value of the services offered. The company was saving lives. But, there was a problem at the heart of the business. Much of the cost for these life-saving transports was left to the patient. Without knowing it, they were incurring large fees because the transportation wasn’t fully covered by the insurance providers.

One case, in particular, moved him. They encountered a man that would surely pass away if he didn’t receive immediate transport, but he was refusing service. He was refusing because he knew that it wouldn’t be covered by his insurance provider and was afraid that he’d never be able to pay off the expense. Even when facing certain peril, the patient was burdened with financial concerns.

Dr. Stirling was compelled to take action, knowing there had to be a better way to solve this problem. So, the Apollo membership program began. Since that time, it has evolved into a fully-insured program with a wide area of coverage and an ever-growing membership base.
